I ordered 2 amps. Rpa16 (10k watts) and an rp9 (5k watts) 2, spgn258s, and 2, sbg118sThe setup: I run the 2 spgn258s off the rpa16 and the 2 sbg118s off thr rp9, mixer is a xair18.Background with seller: I've done 5,000$+worth of business from this seller and never had an issue... until now. About a year ago now, I ordered a powered rockville 15 inch sub a year ago, with a super crunchy speaker. Called them up and they sent me a replacement woofer, I wish they'd do this every time... I was impressed enough with the customer service back then so I decided to place an 1800$ order and order an "up front main system" for larger venues/small festivals. Stay with me here, this gets better. The good, the bad, and the ugly: the enclosures are fantastic on both the spgn and the sbg, super light and pretty rugged the speakers leave a ton to be desired, this may be because they sent me a defective unit (spgn258) and both the 15s in one of the pair I got are blown. Upon calling customer service (5 days in a row) I got an email (not a callback as I was told) saying I can pack up, and return the speaker with the defect and they'll send a new one when it's received because replacement speakers aren't available... Well, 5 days away from the first show theese were supposed to be used at, that is not an option. I ended up sourcing another 300$ worth of 15 inch speakers at a local music store to replace/balance both speakers to be able to use them for my 2000$ payout show this upcoming weekend (osr in kalispell Montana feb 21st,2023), the speakers are replaced with rockville 15s and are sounding fantastic now.The one spgn258 that worked out of the box sounds absolutely fantastic with super clear highs and mids, but the lows (being an abs cabinet I didn't expect much, hence why I ordered the sbg118s as well) leave a ton to be desired. They're punchy, kick drum punchy, but not "sustained" like alot of hip hop/edm requires. The packaging for 3/4 speakers was fantastic. The 4th actually being the GOOD spgn258 not so much. Quality control lacks at the rockville factory/audiosavings warehouse, the "good" spgn258 was packaged like a 3 year old throwing a toy in a toy box but suprisingly was alright other than a scratch in the back plug plate and a slightly dented grill, the one that was packaged well and was spotless came with 2 blown 15s in it ?‍♂️?‍♂️Customer service was quick to transfer you to a line that hangs up on you 4 out of 5 times you call, and took days to respond.3/5 stars. Good value. Good sound (if you by chance get a good one) and they're light enough I can set up a venue by myself without too much hassle. Just ordered 1100$ more in things to try and get a smaller venue system as well, or to combine them all for large festivals. Hope those ones show up okay. The weird part... rockville advertises theese as having the rockville logo on the speaker cones, and the "replacement speakers" have the logo on them. But the ones in it from factory do not have the logos? Also the high pass crossover in the 15s is dogwater at best, but functional, BARELY.
