The external component audiophile crossover networks are passive Cauer topology Butterworth filter crossovers for a smooth transition of frequencies from mid-range and mid-bass to the tweeter element designed into a compact crossover housing that can be easily hidden in the installation. High temperature adhesives are utilized to keep the coupling from cone to surround fused and are also impervious to cold weather. Molded Polymer Sealing gaskets are utilized to keep the speaker isolated from the mounting surface and improve protection from the water and dust intrusion. Stainless steel, push and insert connectors resist corrosion and create a superior electrical connection. Red woven fiber cotton poly blend spider to stabilize the cone and voice coil in all musical situations. Venting allows air passage through the spider and speaker frame ribs to exchange air over the voice coil.

MAGNESIUM DOME TWEETERS – 1-inch dome tweeters utilize WideSphere Technology to guarantee a deep and powerful bass in your car with tunable waveguide tweeter housing with removable phase lens and off-axis dispersion pattern.
SUPERIOR BASS – The lightweight aerated pop paper cone with Mica Blend Design adds strength and superior bass frequency reproduction, allowing mid-range and bass frequencies to remain musical without distortion caused by cone flexing.
EXTERNAL COMPONENT CROSSOVER – Premium component (2-way) designs feature an external audiophile crossover network which guides frequencies from the amplifier to each speaker, designed with tight tolerance components for the highest sound quality.
POWER HANDLING – The RMS Power Handling of these speakers operate at 100 Watts (each) and 200 Watts (system), and Peak Power Handling at 200 watts (each) and 400 watt (system). With Speaker Impedance of 4 OHMS, these speakers bring your car to life.
