I bought this for my dear friend and she absolutely loves it. We needed a little something to boost the morale when sitting in the spa. This speaker was just the thing, not only was it water resistant the quality of the sound was amazing! The next day the neighbor asked if we had a DJ playing. He was socked to find out the music was came from this little speaker. He immediately went onto Amazon and purchased the same speaker.Update: Nice compact unit. I blue tooth music (all styles) and audio books to it and am quite happy with it. Like all sound systems, it is very difficult to compare systems without hearing them side by side. My take is this is a far superior unit for sound quality, range of volume, and overall design and function. It does not have the "boxy" sound of some other similarly priced units. The small? (2") sub woofer, actually appears to provide some decend base. Ive been using my first unit for about two months on a daily basis and enjoyed it enought that I bought a second unit. The battery life appears to be significant (18 hours or so) since I start mine at 8 PM and let it play uninterupted till 8 the next day. So far so good. Follow UP: The second Unit had some technical issues (battery didn't charge) however the vendor/manufacturer quickly responded via numerous emails to my complaint and quickly resolved the issue. I was pretty surprized and happy that they actually cared enough to resolve my issue. I highly recomend these, not as a replacement for a thousand dollar sound system, but for general everyday portable use.Powerful sound for such a little guy! I have only had this one for about three weeks so cannot speak to endurance or water resistance as I have yet to drop it in the sink or taken it swimming with me in the ocean, I have, however, dropped it on its little head more than once and it does not seem to have suffered my clumsiness in any way. Overall I am really happy with this purchase!Like many other reviewers, I was truly surprised at the great sound that comes out of this little gem. Smaller than a coffee cup, but don't let that fool you - this thing sounds great and gets loud enough to be disturbing to those around you lol. Mine came about 80% charged and connected right up to my phone with no issues. I ran it most of the day at medium volume and it didn't drop much at all. I did charge it at the end of the day though. It took a while to charge - I didn't time it but it was longer than an hour. This isn't an issue to me, just pointing it out. The next day I used it for ~a few hours and the charge never dropped. In the box came the speaker, a USB-C charging cord, a 3.5mm headphone cord, and some instructions. For the price I think you'd be hard pressed to find something that sounds as good as this does in such a small form factor. The little rope carry handle on the side is great too - I attached a carabiner to it and clip it to my belt loop, backpack, etc. Great design!I wish the battery lasted a bit longer bht the sound was great and the size is perfectly portable. LoveHas great sound for the price and size. I use it at the beach and to have some tunes while I play with the kids outside. The loop is useful. I'm always clipping it to something because I never have a free hand. The only flaw I noticed is that your phone and the speaker need a clear line of site to stay connected.
