The KFC-X463C 4"x6" full-range speakers feature 1" dome tweeters that deliver all the high-frequency details without sounding harsh. Because of their specially designed magnetic circuitry and neodymium magnets, these compact tweeters use less steel in their construction than most tweeters, so you'll hear more accurate response. Woofers The woofer cones are constructed of Carbon-PP (polypropylene) with a diamond array pattern. The woofers feature butyl rubber surrounds for a smoother response and improved durability. Tweeters Each speaker uses a 1" PEI balanced-dome tweeter. PEI (Poly-Ether Imide) is a polymer film that has ideal sound characteristics, making it perfect for use as a tweeter. A PEI balanced-dome tweeter produces a wide sound stage for superior imaging.
