My daughter did a fair amount of research and thought the Tomoloo Hover Boards were pretty safe and of good quality. However, we learned after I purchased two for my grandchildren that the metal on the wheels is very sharp. You don't want to pick them up by the wheels or you can get cut. Also, if using inside, the sharp metal will damage your baseboards if accidentally ran along them. But the kids love them.Very sturdy and perfect for my 8 year old grandson.We got this as a Christmas gift for my daughter and she and the whole family absolutely love it! It was a little more than we had planned on spending but it seems to be worth it! The battery life is very good considering other reviews that I've read on different Hoverboards and it is also very sturdy. My son (5) and daughter (8) picking it up immediately and have a blast zooming around on it. The only thing we don't like is how hot the charger gets while charging the board.Over all satisfied with purchase. Board itself works flawlessly but disappointed with speaker quality.I have purchased 3 of these. 2 have worked perfectly, one never held a charge and vibrated dangerously (almost right out of the box). Returning was a breeze, though, and was able to reorder another (which works). Lots of fun for my 8 and 12 yos.I bought this for my daughter, and we both found it very easy to learn to use.I bought this for my 10 year old daughter for her birthday. She loves it! Easy set up and works great. I like that you can control the speed from the app. The only negative is the fact that every time you turn it on it tells you that it is pairing, and it does so in a very loud voice. We have tried to figure out how to turn this announcement down, or turn it off altogether, but haven't had much success yet.
